In a letter to Dr. Hahn, she added: "The unique way that you live an profess your Catholic faith is amodel."
Dr. Hahn accepted the honorary degree in a May 28 ceremony at the Pontifical Universit y. He was joined by his wife, Kimberly, and (left to right): Bishop Felix Lazaro-Martinez of Ponce, Grand Chancellor of the University; Bishop Ulises Casiano-Vargas of Mayaguez, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; and University Trustee, Bishop Inaki Mallona of Arecibo.
"I'm grateful for the award," Dr. Hahn said. "But I see this as less of an honor to me personally than it is a recognition that our work at the St. Paul Center is bearing real fruits that can be seen throughout the universal Church."
