Rome & Assisi Pilgrimage!

The Eternal City

Even before the end of our wonderful pilgrimage to the Holy Land with Steve and Janet Ray earlier this year, we were saying “let’s do it again.” So next year Steve and the St. Paul Center are heading to Italy. And we want you to join us. From May 23rd through June 1st we’ll explore together the sacred sites of Rome and Assisi (eight days in Rome, two in Assisi). During those ten days, we’ll pray at the tombs of the Apostles Peter and Paul, we’ll attend an audience with Pope Benedict XVI, visit all of the major basilicas of Rome, descend into the catacombs, pray the stations of the cross in the Coliseum, and explore some of the most beautiful and little known churches in both cities.
   

With Scott and Kimberly Hahn as your guides, you’ll walk where martyrs walked and pray where saints prayed. You’ll grow in your love of the Church, as you see her in all of her ancient splendor. And you’ll grow in faith, as the graces of pilgrimage take root in your heart.

You’ll also grow in your understanding of what the Catholic Church teaches thanks to daily seminars given by the Hahns, as well as popular authors and early Church historians, Mike Aquilina, Steve Ray, and Elizabeth Lev. In addition to the daily seminars, the trip will also feature daily Mass, guided tours by our experienced team of their favorite spots in Rome, as well as plenty of time for fellowship and private prayer.

This pilgrimage will mark the fourth time that the St. Paul Center has journeyed to Rome. Over 250 pilgrims have made the journey with us through the years, some coming back a second, and even a third time. Each pilgrimage has been, in its own way, the trip of a lifetime and this year promises to be no exception.
