Dr. Timothy Gray
Dr. Gray is the President of the Augustine Institute, a dynamic new MA program in Sacred Scripture and Evangelization & Catechesis in Denver. He is also Professor of Sacred Scripture at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary. He holds a PhD in Biblical Studies from Catholic University of America.
The prestigious German publisher, Mohr Siebeck, and Baker Academic have published his dissertation, The Temple in the Gospel of Mark: A Study in Its Narrative Role. He is author of Praying Scripture for a Change: An Introduction to Lectio Divina, The Luminous Mysteries: Biblical Reflections on the Life of Christ. Dr. Gray is currently working on a commentary on the Gospel of Luke for the Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture by Baker Academic Press.
A nationally renowned speaker, Dr. Gray has filmed numerous series for EWTN. He is a partner with Jeff Cavins in The Great Adventure Bible Timeline Catholic Bible study series. Dr. Gray resides in Littleton, Colorado with his wife Kris and their son Joseph.
