Joseph S. Nawrocki, D.M.D., M.D.
Joseph S. Nawrocki, D.M.D., M.D., a Trustee of The St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon based in Washington, Pa. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in biology. From the same school he received his doctoral degrees in medicine and dental medicine. After serving his residency at Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh, Dr. Nawrocki entered private practice in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. He has published the finidings of his medical research in The Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Nawrocki has been active in parish life, leading adult-education classes at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Meadowlands, Pa. He has been an ardent promoter of Catholic apologetics and Bible study, especially in his home diocese of Pittsburgh. As a member of the Catholic Apologetics Network, Dr. Nawrocki has spoken in parishes on a variety of topics. He has supported, advised, and encouraged the work of the St. Paul Center since its founding.
Dr. Nawrocki lives in Canonsburg, Pa., with his wife Bonnie and their eight children.
